Now here is where the story twists. Andrew’s sister, Heather Reid, is suspicious of the police version of the story because she claims that Penco County Sheriff Cliff Harris has said that Andrew took a gun from the police not once but twice. If true that is bizarre to the point of unbelievable. It should be noted that the  two Deputies are on unpaid leave.

Which ever way you look at it the Texas Rangers are being coy in their public response to their ongoing investigation. They say that it will take approximately 3 months to complete their investigation and then forward their report to the District Attorney. It will then be up to the DA as to whether to present this to a Grand Jury, where the jurors will decide whether an indictment of the the deputies is warranted.
